 On Friday, May 3 we started working on a letter to our future self which is due on Monday. I think this was a great idea for an assignment for us seniors on one of the last weeks of school. I'm putting a lot of thought into mine (I'll probably be doing it all weekend) so that I can read it later on in my life and have a lot to take in rather than just some general ideas of what was going on when I was just graduating high school. I'm looking forward to the finished product, which I'll keep working on now. I've been enjoying Jesus this morning a lot and I will be drawing from His divine supply by calling on His name while I do this work. (I ran out of Adderall so I really need Him to supply my ADHD brain) Praise the Lord.

 I was absent on Tuesday, April 30th. On Wednesday, May 3rd, we chose an image and wrote a poem about it then wrote a description under our poem. I wrote my poem about Colossians 2:16-17: "Let no one therefore judge you in eating and in drinking or in respect of a feast or of a new moon or of the Sabbath, which are a shadow of the things to come, but the body is of Christ." The image I chose was a simple one of someone's shadow on the ground. I enjoyed writing about how the Lord is the reality of all of the positive shadows that we can see, feel, hear, touch, and smell. Jesus is Lord. He comes.
