Today, we read through "The Yellow Wallpaper" again and wrote down what confused us as well as six questions about the text and their answers.

I learned more about the text by jumping around and coming up with questions about it. Because we had to give the answer too, I had to look deeper into the text to find things that could be good questions, of which the answers are easily found in the text. I was impacted by how many details I got from doing this that I hadn't picked up by just reading the text through. With this knowledge, I plan to do better on an assessment about this text.

What I liked about the lesson, more so this reading over the last couple of days, was that it doesn't feel like we're rushing this story or trying to get through it too fast. I also feel like the questions we created are going to be in the assessment, or at least the ones that Mr. Rease deems as usable. There wasn't much to dislike about the lesson. Mr. Rease let me turn my questions and answers in by the end of the day, which I have done by now and I am thankful for this.

Today I am feeling good. I have a dive meet at Chamblee High School and I am excited for it. My friend said we actually have a chance to beat the opposing school this time, because their seniors (on the team) dropped out or something along those lines. It's kind of funny to me that he said "we actually have a chance to beat them." Our team is not that good. It is probably because the diving board here is trash.
